Ok so we have sub tropical storms here at the moment and Australia Day is unlike the usual steamy hot day at the beach, so to celebrate I am sharing my photo from Wednesday because it typifies Australia Day

I've always wanted to visit but its what an 85 hour flight from here. Ok not that long but I have ADHD and would have to be sedated like a space traveler.
a fantastic lot of Australia Day photos...fantastic effort everyone. Here's mine of the fireworks tonight...not the big Perth Skyshow but a smaller scale show in Ashfield put on by the Shire of Bassendean.
Australia day is a day where you can go out cerebrate every thing that makes this great country and there is nothing more Australian than Joe's Thai Food.
