Many of us (in both Canada and US) got hit with a snowstorm yesterday. Some will still be seeing accumulations today and tomorrow as the storm moves. Here in Toronto, snow started Thursday night and finished falling around midnight on Friday.

Here's my poor husband trying to battle against the snow yesterday:
Ugg. well, my 365 photo of the day is a drift that was seen when I opened my garage door this morning. typical newbie mistake-not sure how to import the pix to this site.
Sorry.
24 inches here in Lowell Mass and not done yet.
Must be time to bake something sweet! I agree Katy!
@russianblue I just saw a traffic camera image from part of the 401 there... People were shoveling on the on ramp. I know here in central SK we are in for some more... ugh... My snow blower has had enough already. :) Great images!!
great photos, from uk here in the north west don't get that kind of snow here. but great to see these photos and its fun taking photos at night in the snow, keep it up.
Wonderful pictures, but I am so glad we don't get this kind of snow. I hope everyone is safe and that you don't have power outages to go with the snow.
I was hoping for a thread like this! Thanks for posting all the snowy pictures, everyone. @cococat That snowdrift is off the charts! Wow! 24 inches! I can't even fathom what 2 or 3 feet of snow looks like. A foot of snow is a major thing for us!
@camisze Don't you love having a husband. I always send him out first to assess the conditions and he usually just clears it up before I make it out there. LoL
The snow was blowing around so much that it stuck to the sliding glass doors. This is how pretty it looked with the sun beating on the melting snow. It worked well for my get pushed challenge this week, which was to take a blurry photo. NE Connecticutt
(Just so we're clear, that is supposed to say "flooding")

We didn't get the snow just the cold temps
This shot below is about 6:30 am Friday morning. I got my husband up before 6am to plow so I could get my little car out of the garage to go to work.
27 inches here in Shrewsbury, MA...

Hard to tell that there's 2 feet of new snow in last 12 hours or so but this is it looking out over the Lamprey River tributary.
