Thank you for the pictures. I am always moved when I see the picture of the firefighters carrying their dead chaplain out the of the scene. After working at Ground Zero for ten with the PAPD officers in Dec. 2001, I am always aware what this day means to LEO's and firefighters.
You did a wonderful job, Claire. It looks like it must have taken you a lot of time to complete it. Thank you so much for sharing it and we shall never forget.
This is very impressive Claire. I must confess I did not make it all the way through. It is still so heartbreaking to think of the lives lost and the terrible price we pay for freedom. But it is a beautiful tribute from start to finish.
Just had the chance to take a peek at this Claire and it is very emotional; I often wonder how people get over such events, more so on this scale but we as human beings have this enormous capacity to get up and keep going and in some cases become stronger and more compassionate.
Everytime (and I use that word deliberately) an incident of this mass/nature occurs, we always say it must never happen again; yet it does...............
I wonder will we ever learn and must the innocent always suffer.
I could not get the sound track to work but it did not lessen the impact. Something for future generations to look back on and always remember.
