Traveling and 365

November 11th, 2010
Hi all.

Need some insite please. I will be travelling to New Zealand for three weeks between dec and Jan and was wondering how to keep my project going. I wont have a laptop and Internet to update daily. I'm I able to load the photos when I get back from the trip by just choosing the date it was taken.

Thanks in advance.

No problem with loading when you get back. The pics you load will automatically pre-fil on the dates they were taken if you want to be true to the date. If you need to load the pic to another date, then you change the date in the 'upload' screen.

Enjoy the trip!

@eleanor, Thanks. It will be a great opportunity for me to get out and take some landscape pics.

I don't think there are any hard and fast rules on this project, it is yours to do with as you wish so I'm sure that will be fine.

Hey Shaun,
If you want to back up your photos while travelling, you can always take a USB stick and upload the photos from your camera at an internet cafe every now and then. Then you can edit and upload to the 365 website when you get back home, without worrying about accidentally losing or deleting everything :)
Have an excellent time!

have a great time - maybe someone in NZ on 365 may invite you to use their computer .... if you were coming to Oz I'd put it out there ... go well, travel safe and looking forward to the pix.

i bought an ipad for this use when i went to asia last month and it was much better than traveling with a laptop. just a thought in case you want to have something that is easier than a laptop when you travel.
i also think the usb idea is genius -- internet cafes are everywhere!
