I'm planning a 12-day tour of Eastern Canada from June 26 to July 7.and would very much appreciate it if some 365ers living in Toronto (or Quebec, Monteral, Ottawa) could give me some tips / suggestions as to where to go for getting interesting shots.
I know that Northy @northy lives inToronto and it would be really a pleasure to be able to meet and maybe do a short photo walk together (I know there are other 365ers living there, too). When I was in Chicago it was so exciting to meet up with Taffy @taffy and in New York with Michael Elliott @michaelelliott.. I treasure those experiences and have very fond memories of those moments.
I would be really delighted to meet some colleagues there. If anybody is available and /or willing to meet or help with suggestions, they are more than welcome.

Would love to meet up - but unfortunately can't do any of the days listed. If it was on a weekend, might be able to swing it but not during typical work hours.

@summerfield I'm in. I can take the train in from here. Will arrive downtown around 8.30 am. Can spend the day until around 3 pm I think the train leaves for home again. That works for the full day then I can sort something out for the half days.

I'm sorry about the week days but, as I said before, these are the only leisure periods foreseen by the tour programme. Thanks for spreading the news!

Maybe we can use your advice and tips for the other half days and manage on our own.

@mara19500 I like the hop on hop off bus as it takes you round all the areas and gives you a trip over to the island. Vicki @summerfield is a great tour guide.
@summerfield haha. Mara a Vicki block is about the same distance as 3 blocks so if she tells you we are walking 3 blocks then it's more like 6 blocks but it's all fun fun fun.

Torontonian here... Distellery District is quite interesting for pics, Kensington Market, Chinatown, Old and New City hall, CN Tower, Dundas Square... and you can take a $7 ferry ride to the island and get some great shots of the skyline from there!!!

You can get all the urban building shots anywhere downtown Toronto. Stroll along Front Street to visit Brookfield Place ( http://www.brookfieldplacenewsandevents.com/building-information/), Royal York Hotel ( http://www.fivestaralliance.com/luxury-hotels/toronto-on/fairmont-royal-york), St. Lawrence Market ( http://www.stlawrencemarket.com/) etc.
