Can I say a big THANK YOU to all my friends on here, who have commented, encouraged and inspired me through the past three years and also welcome all the new people who may be starting their project around this time...
For those of you who are just starting out on this project, this post by 'Shades of Grey ' has been a great help to a number of people over the years so I thought it may be useful to post it again.
Also a newbie to the project - thank you for that link. So far everyone has been very warm and welcoming, which is really the only way you can learn, so thank you all for that :)

Welcome all Newbies!! This is a great place to be but be careful as it is addictive. I have just completed year 2 and starting my third year. Bulldog @bulldog and Daryl @darylo have given you some very good advice and I would recommend you all read those links as they will help you feel at home very quickly!! Happy New year to you all - 2015 is going to be an exciting year on 365!!
Welcome everyone! This is my fourth year trying to complete a 365... I feel good about it this time, LOL. But even missing months here and there I've learned SO much from this site and the encouragement and ideas from the community are so, so helpful. I started as a total noob in 2010 with no idea how to work my camera and only a vague idea of what makes a great photo. I can't believe how far I have come in such a short amount of time and I owe it all to everyone here :) Looking forward to a great 2015 with new and old members alike!
Welcome all the new ones :p I have just finished my first year, loved every bit of it! You will love it and get what you put into it, I loved it so much I have started a second year!
