Taken with an older Lumix camera. When I fed the birds this winter, I have also been "feeding" this hawk. She snatches common doves from the yard. But now that spring is arriving, I expect she put up a nest nearby and sometimes just sits on the back porch and claims her domain.

I really enjoy Roberto's work... he was a newbie recently - I travel vicariously to Venice via his wonderful photos. I never made it to the newbie page - the perils of setting up your profile well in advance of actually starting your project!
