Through the years here, I've been assisted by so many when I asked for help: Steve Hollingsworth, (whom some may remember though he seems to have left the site), directed my knowledge of DOF and Taffy @taffy who gave me good instruction in using HDR. I thanked them on my photo caption when their help gave me some success, but all that good information is no buried in my albums.
In the last couple of days I saw photos by Kim @kwind and Guy @guysnape that inspired me to try something "their way", and gave them credit. In my comments, many said they were delighted to have the information. It struck me then that when we've tagged someone who inspired our photo, and added a link back to their photo, we ought to add a tag " inspierd_by ". This will build a compilation starting with your photo, and that will link to the second photo that guided you. All the instruction and comments may help another someday. To start, this is what inspired me to write this thread. Add yours here into the future and won't if be wonderful if the *Inspiration* has a trickle-down effect!

Great idea. There are so many inspirational photographers and shots here and would be wonderful to acknowledge them in this way. I will add the tag to my list.
