Today, I wanted to edit one of my pictures with PicMonkey, and no matter how many times I tried, it didn't work. When I click on the link to edit the picture, it starts to load PicMonkey, and then just stops doing it and goes back to my "newsfeed" page (not the picture page).
The PicMonkey site seems to be doing OK when I load it independently from 365.
So, my question is - is anyone experiencing the same problem today? If not, there could be something "wrong" with my computer. But if yes, then maybe some kind of link is broken?
Hi Vera. Just did process my last picture (resharpening, what I lost upon upload), and for me everthing went well and fine. So sorry I can not help you. Did you try with another browser?
@vera365 I have had problems with it using 365 before too, I think the day before yesterday or maybe yesterday I tried about 20 times before I eventually gave up. I think it depends on how many people are using it or the speed of your internet that sometimes it spaces out.
@vera365 yes I too have had problems with it for quite a while now. I tried different browsers and computers but picmonkey is very temperamental on 365 it takes me about 3 or 4 attempts before I can get it to work 😒
I have used picmonkey quite a few times, and only occasionally have a glitch. I also think when internet is busy is a big problem. I have trouble even looking at 365 when it is too busy.
@vera365 I have occasionally had a problem but it only seems to occur with large files of 10 Mb+ - for file sizes of 5 Mb and under it seems to work consistently well.
I couldn't get PicMonkey to work with the latest Microsoft browsers. Neither could my software tech support folks. Something to do about how it looks for Flash support in the browser, the Microsoft browsers now having Flash "embedded" rather than as a separate plugin. I have migrated to Firefox for this reason. This was four months ago. Several other older programs using Flash had this issue too, the older 365 uploader was one. Microsoft had zero interest in helping at the time.
BTW, my experience with Firefox has been extremely positive in general. Pages load much faster for me than with the Microsoft browsers, and it never, ever, crashes.
I had a problem with picmonkey a while back. My tech guy (hubby) found out it was a problem with browser compatibility, just like @frankhymus mentioned. Now I open it using google chrome and I've never had another issue. Not sure if that helps.
