Here are some further details for the Cheltenham meet on 23 September. Joyce @thistle and I are very much looking forward to meeting anyone who can make it - all are most welcome. We are re-tagging people whom we think are vaguely local. So far we are expecting Peter @peterday and his wife, and Julie @jaffacakes. Rachel @rachelwithey and @padlock also expressed an interest, and we very much hope they will be able to join us. Please tag anyone else who you think might be able to come along ...
We plan to meet at Huffkins Bakery on the Promenade (opposite Cavendish House) at 10.30 for coffee and a chat. Hope to move off some time before 11.30. Lunch around 12.45-1. Wrap up around 3-3.30, unless people are keen to stay longer. If the weather is kind, we will find plenty to do outside - if not, we are working on alternative plans to keep dry.

I would have loved to have joined you Clare @pistache and if you ever organise another meet up please consider me. Unfortunately I'm going to have to decline the kind offer as it's youngest son's birthday on that day and also the day before he leaves to go to uni so I think I'd be lynched if I'm not there!
@psychographer ah well lisa i quite understand - you certainly need to be with your son :) will definitely keep you posted if we have another - it would be so great to have you along!
@pistache Hi Clare. I'm really hoping I can join you for the morning. Would need to leave about 1.30 to pick my son up from school. Just need to unscramble a few arrangements at this end but should be ok. Thanks again for the invite I'll email you to at some point this week if I can work things out. Is the meeting point near the train station as it will be much quicker for me to come by train than to drive.
@rachelwithey great news! huffkins bakery is in the town centre. there are buses from the station into the town (service d) or it would take about 20-25 mins to walk? do hope you'll be able to come :)
@pistache Hi Clare, I'm so disappointed to be missing this. I will be just back from summer at our French house and en route to family wedding near Liverpool. Although I now live in North Yorkshire (at least for the winters) I was a fashion design student in Cheltenham and it sort of got under my skin. My husband and I have returned there each decade for our notable birthdays. Please send me info for any future gatherings. Meanwhile I'll 'follow' you so I can get a fix of local scenes!
Hi Claire - I'm fairly local but unfortunately I will be out of the country on the date mentioned, something to do with sun, sand and vino. Please bear me in mind next time you arrange something, in the meantime I wish everyone well and that you all have a good time.
Would love to have come but a bit far for me to travel and hubby has no more days holiday and both my girls are at Uni / work. Hope you all have a great time and look forward to seeing your captures.

Dear Joyce and Clare, this week has turned hectic including a must-go-to funeral, which will unfortunately not allow me to attend this Friday. I was so looking forward to the day and appreciate your hard work in preparation, but hope it is an enjoyable occasion with plenty of pleasant photography. Best wishes, Julie
