Well it is official... I might as well burn my film and trash my bodies and shatter my glass... my new son has ruined photography for me...

As a photog I am ruined, all the photos I take now are of my beautiful muse. Who will buy these... sigh... hope grandma has deep pockets I was hoping to sell enough prints this winter to buy the Fuji X100 this spring.
Well I am off now... Eli is snuggle so adorably in my arms as I type this I want to set up a tri-pod and take some selfies... RUINED I TELL YOU RUINED!!!!

I never used to take many photos, then I had kids lol. Most of my photos on facebook are of them and there's ALOT. Congratulations of the new addition!! :-)
I thought this was going to be a thread about how babies are so difficult to photograph! They are such good subject when the conditions are right. Congratulations man. We had a new addition to the family recently (not mine, my uncle's):
LOL! Not ruined at all- just changed :D The other stuff will come back to you! But seriously- can we charge the grandparents for prints- if so my parents are into me for TONS of money LOL!!
Ha!!! This made me laugh. I brought my first DSLR camera 6 days ago, and why? Because i'm expecting my first child in 6 weeks!
Congrats on your new addition. Given how obsessed we can become with our children (both before birth AND after) I think it's perfectly normal that this is where your attention is.... Pls share your new little man with us?
Absolutely! My daughter is 9 months and I struggle to photograph anything else other than my paid work. Which is why i'm taking on this project eventhough 2 out of 3 so far included her!
I think its a photog kids thing cuz taking pictures of my own kids makes me wanna run away screaming saying NEVER AGAIN! but working with a clients kids, not so bad.
I for the record LOVE shooting babies....
and even with 7 kids once in a while I get a surprise and get a good shot or 2 of them all together...
case in point.... fall pictures, and our christmas card.... (I sometimes love the outtake the best though!)
Congratulations! Enjoy every day, they grow so fast. I often wonder why my grands are so much cuter than my sons. Finally decided, it is better cameras.
