I am about to start my second year tomorrow, will I lose my first year. I am not an ace member.

No, it will just post for day 367. You lose nothing as long as you remain active (and that means posting like once every few months).

Just to add - if you do want to start at 1 again, you'll need a separate album but you'd need to become an ace member to get multiple albums.
