Replacing photos with Picmonkey

January 13th, 2017
The last time I replaced a photo using Picmonkey it was really easy... just open one from your computer and save it over the top of the one you had opened with Picmonkey. I no longer see where I can do that, has it changed?

In Picmonkey, up at the top there should be a button that says "Save". When you hit that, it will then ask you if you want to replace the image. Once you choose yes, it should overwrite your previous shot. :)

You used to be able to OPEN a new file from within the ap. I can no longer find that, and yes, I miss the possibility of doing the "relpace" as well.

@dyanstevens @frankhymus if you go to the butterfly there is an overlay option, just upload a file from your computer over the top and save without applying any blend modes.

@bella_ss @kali66 Or from the menu, now I look, the old fashioned File | Open. Sorry Kali, a "butterfly?"

@kali66 I did wonder if using a layer was an option. I will have to try that Kali, thank you.

@dyanstevens As Frank said you can no longer "open" a file as you used to be able to.

@frankhymus I gave it a try, as @kali66 said and yes, under the butterfly icon you can open a file from your computer and place on top. Thanks Kali.
