Google finally pulls of the plug on Nik support

I'm surprised it wasn't official earlier, although we all knew it was dead. When was the last update? 2014? Or indeed has there been any work done since Google acquired it? I never did use it, but I know a significant number of people are fans of Silver Efex especially.

hmmmm would any lovely 365-er be able to enlighten me as to what this means if i use it through ps elements 13? i would hate to lose it :(

I use it all the time - haven't really thought about the no updates bit

I use it from time to time -- haven't really noticed the need for updates.

@pistache What works now will of course continue to work. Just don't upgrade computer operating system or Adobe host and expect it all to continue to work. It might, but if it doesn't you are out of luck.

@pistache Clare I'm using OS Sierra, and I haven't had any problems using Colour Efex Pro 4, or Silver Efex

@pistache I'm also using Sierra and haven't had a single problem.. lets hope it stays like that!

I admit that I really like SilverEfex as well. I just discovered it this year, and it's such a great tool for getting that B&W balance just right. I hate it when companies take a product and then let it die.
