Just hoping all our California friends are ok. Having survived the terrible fires now the news of mud slides and devastation is very worrying. Let us know you're all ok.

@Cherrill We're good -- fires and mudslides 50 miles NW of us although the canyons do have some blocks that impede traffic. Thanks for your thoughts.

@Cherrill @annied Thank you so much. All good thoughts appreciated. We are fortunate as we are 80 miles North. We are below the mud slide that has closed Big Sur and above these slides in Santa Barbara. We had our bad days from the fire itself, all of the smoke and ash. I shared photos where we were in awe being under dark, orange brown skies - 80 miles north! The fire was tremendous and kept our skies darkened all day. The rains came too soon in these areas. It's heartbreaking and almost unfathomable when you see the destruction on the news.
