we're close to the beach you'd think it would be a relief but im soo not battling the crowds or the boiling sand... theres no sea breeze its been dead still for days!
yeah....I just finished shoveling almost three feet of snow off my roof - my whole roof. Roofs are collapsing all over the place due to the incredible amount of snow we've had this last month and half. Throw some sun in a box and send it this way, we could use it!
Poor you! I hate it above 27 degrees - traditional English summer temperatures were perfect, but these go well after 30 degrees. Will this cool you? There are lots more where this came from :-)
That snow and ice looks soooo cold...I want it to be winter already! Not that it snows here but still a cool break would be nice!
I feel like im suffocating, also I have a mingin headache from having the aircon on all day for the past week! I just want to open the house up and get some fresh air in here!
dreaming of summer!!! Hopefully the temperature will keep rising from now on. By now we´re at about 0 C... From mid november until about a week ago the temp has been between -5 and -20 C. I´m soooo tired of snow and not being able to move around freely. Some places here in Denmark have had snow as high as a person this winter... Enough now... Let the sun shine please :-D
That is funny that you would complain about 95 F degrees! You would not like the summers in Arizona when it reaches 125 F. lol! Sometimes we have to wear long sleeve shirts when it is only 95. :)
Well I have no snow or extreme heat but is 95 really THAT hot? I guess I have climatized to the outrageous Georgia and Florida humidity/heat lol. 95 sounds comfy.
my chocolate shot from yesterday melted and sweated in no time .... I'd put it all in the freezer earlier in the day to stem the melting process but it made the sugar on the mint leaves dissolve (doh!) .... then back into the freezer after. I even waited to as late in the day as I could to photograph with natural light
Nothing beats frozen picnic or mars bars or snickers or cherry ripe ..... ok maybe something but emmm....
I hear ya Samantha! Funny thing is my 2yo just rediscovered her gum boots and insists on wearing them outside. Lucky they served their purpose with the odd rain today.
@amorton1437 yes LOL 95 at a minimum!!
the humidity has been up around 80/90% too!!
YUCKO... covered in a fine film of sweat alllll day!
I also find the australian sun is alot harsher - more bite!
i've been to alot of places summers an i've never felt the bite we have anywhere else in the world.
@misschuff hey im going to ring in... i was at the dr today with my little guy whos got a cough and heat rash - the dr said to use DermAid if it was bothering him... which is a 1% Hydrocortisone cream... any Hydrocortisone cream will do Hyrdrozole is the other one we've used in the past too but DermAid rubs in better. hth!
@misschuff the only thing I can suggest is to wear cotton clothing. Thankfully no-one in my family suffers badly from heat rash, but wearing natural fibres would have to help
naw i wanna live somewhere where it snows in winter.... Im in the wrong climate.. i really dislike the heat! give me snow any day!
The air is soooo stuffy!

@sam_cr It gets up to 110F easy where I live in Texas, I have to admit I like it better than this below freezing we are having right now.
Im about to put the boys in the car just so we can be in the A/C!!
@dawnetta Nice!! LOL i want to snap them off and roll in the ice! LOL!
@spaceman pretty!!!!!
Although it was 38 the other day and then the next it was 34 degrees and thunderstorms (oh the humidity during that)
Actually I lie... I'm over the humidity !!! Canberra rarely gets this humid...
Here you go! =)
