I feel so uninspired when people stop commenting and critiquing my photos. It makes me feel like there is no point of doing it.I probably sound very selfish and full of myself. :( But it's just what motivates me.
Does anyone else have this problem?

I get like that once and a while, but I try to remember that I started this project for myself. Comments and critiques are always nice, but when it comes down to it, if I like or don't like my photo other peoples thoughts on them do not really change my mind.
I think we all get this feeling from time to time. Perhaps you could look through your albums and see what is similar about the photos that do have a lot of views/comments and try to stick with those elements.
You know, you have 158 followers, yet you only follow 39 people . . . As much as I know some believe it should not be . . . this is a somewhat reciprocal community. Do you comment, at least on the photos others you are following? Do you browse the PP and/or theme entries and comment on any that catch your eye, regardless of the artist? Do you participate in the Browse and Picks, etc.? These are all good ways to attract followers and/or observers . . . We all do enjoy the praise and comments, of course, but, in the end, you still have to do it for yourself! Best of luck . . . sending inspiration your way!
What Lynne said. You get what you give. You want to think that 158 people will be there for you every day, but you are only there for 39. Think about it.
And inspiration should not be based on how much attention you get.
The whole point of this project is to try out new ideas and let other people see them, and receive comments from anyone else who might find them inspiring. I have looked at your album, read your profile and looked at all of your pictures and you clearly have tremendous enthusiam and are excited with the results of your photography and the amount of time you spend on your personal appearance. I am sure many other teenagers who either love your attitude or feel jealous of you, will respond in time, but might hesitate to do so if they feel that you re demanding it. Teenagers are like that; they don't like being pressed for an answer! If you look at other people's work and offer constructive comments they will surely do the same for you.

I found it helps to actually print up some of my favorite photos and view them outside if this forum. That way you are reflecting on them yourself, rather than relying on other peoples appreciation.
And don't feel bad. I'm guilty of it too. I check in regularly when I post something I am particularly proud of to see if others appreciate it as well. But I think that has more to do with respecting other 365ers opinion and advice, rather than validation.
Hey your pics are nice!! you have loads of followers!!! be aware that posting them at different times of the day will mean they are seen by lots (i.e. dinner time) or few (i.e. early hours of the morning) (depending on where you are of course) and if you keep commenting on others they should keep remembering to look at yours.
@lynnmwatson Okay awesome I like the way your thinking! I didn't even realize I was following such a little amount! I will definitely get out there and search more. :) But yes I do love to give critique.
