wow -that is awesome!! hands up - I ALWAYS have camera to hand even when the fasten seatbelt sign is on. I got told off by the pilot in a 12 seater place once who asked me NOT to take photos on landing as the red light on the camera was confusing them with their warning lights!! for once i DID comply with the rules - seemed a good enough reason to!
Great moment to capture from the air! I hate flying, but I always take photos from the plane window with my camera. If electronic devices are so dangerous, shouldn't they make us put them in our checked bags to make sure everyone complies?
Very cool! My son is a pilot (in training - he's just 16) and whenever he flies, I go up with him and take like a gazillion photos! I've got some on my 365...my fave being my NYC photo from February 22nd. There's nothing more amazing than seeing the world from a bird's eye perspective. Thanks for sharing this, I'll have to show my son, he'll love it!
