Have you discovered someone on the 365Project you think is underappreciated? I am thinking about someone who has less than 50 (50ish, not by any means wanting to be legalistic here) followers and is worth following for whatever reason. My favorite reason would be that someone produces consistently good photos worth looking at most days, or maybe someone has a unique approach to 365. There may be other reasons to recommend someone, and you can decide who you want to recommend for whatever reason. Extra points for someone who has posted more than 30 photos :). I'm also going to suggest we recommend one photographer per post, just to keep it simple.
I like this idea William. I am now following Nicole as the quick viewing of her work, it is pretty impressive.
Part of me says if someone wants to be more noticed, they need to do some work on their own too. Some people don't care and like being under the radar.
However, I like finding these gems and adding them to my list as I like to see other places through their eyes; and if I can learn something from their photos even better.
I thank you again for point this photog out and thank you Nicole for standing out to William.
This is a wonderful idea, and so like you, William, to consider this! I too, enjoy Nicklynne's work already. One whom I'm in touch with nearly every day is Bernie, living in Bangladesh for two years. Her portraits are extraordinary http://365project.org/bernie/365/2010-05-04 She always responds, though, (as she just wrote yesterday), she was without power & water for 24 hours! I feel badly, abandoning her for awhile until I begin to resettle. Do yourself a treat, and let her know what you think of her photos!
Funny you would have this idea, William. Oddly enough, I would recommend YOU to others. I look forward to your view of the world. Although I can't get on the site every day, I make sure to find your photos while I am here.
I have had Mrs. Smith as a teacher before...she is such an honest person, and so down-to-earth. Many of her photos are special in some way and portray the way she is feeling. She is also good at finding what to write when it comes down to captions. She is a great person and I recommend her to all of you :)
Peter Van Allen, a heartfelt thankyou! I wondered why the amount of people watching me had gone up so fast :-)
I cannot name people here, because everyone's work is just great. Its so much fun looking at the just loaded and popular page, and so much inspiration to be had there too.

This is awesome! More than I could hoped for and every find has been at least good and some have been great. Ok. One more for me. I find Odinn's style something unique and compelling to my eye. Maybe it's all that fire and ice. http://365project.org/odinndagur/365/2010-04-29
This is a nice post! I think everyone on this site deserves appreciation for how they see the world...some may not have the 'professional' eye (cough...me...cough) and other's do this for a living. No matter what the talent/skill level- they are showing how they see things. I post pictures sometimes and dont care that no one comments, and other days I feel so accomplished when seasoned photographers take the time to tell me they like my pictures! I LOVE to look at others pictures, there is such amazing talent on this site that I am blown away everyday...I could spend hours commenting and searching for those 'hidden gems', yet I think my husband wold divorce me for spending so much time on here!
Here is someone that I think deserves more credit:
This is a great discussion. I enjoy everyone that I follow. I am not a photo pro with fancy equipment like most of the people but do like it when people follow me and comment on my photos.
I would suggets someone like Sierra, who is a kid just starting out:
Well...I only started a month ago but I only have 11 followers. I live in the heart of the USA in central Iowa and I try to portray what it is like here in the land between the coasts, that most people fly over. I love seeing where other people live and how they show their daily lives. It is beautiful.
I've looked at some of these... nice recommendations. I'm gonna have to go with this one... her commentary is fabulous as well. http://365project.org/sns0707/profile
Oh... I can't forget Jason either... he's how I know about 365 and even recommended the camera I bought when I was ready to start. http://365project.org/sickboi/profile
William,
What a great post!
Due to timing, and the volume of people on this site, it is virtually impossible to come across every person's work.
The quality and consistency of many of those listed here is really impressive!!
Thank you all for the recommendations. Lots of wonderful ideas and inspiration!
I think this is such a thoughtful idea! I've really enjoyed looking through all these recommendations. I hope people continue to be so willing to share and discover all those great shots.
I haven't been a part of 365 long, but I really like the feel of this guy's photos. http://365project.org/arcanecenotaph/profile
Sarah-
I am feeling the love! Thank you! You have a great eye and should be recognized, too!
And thank you William, I am freaked out that you live in my home town, probably less than a mile from where I grew up (I don't live there anymore but all my family (too many to add a number) still call Bama home. I swam in the waters of the old boat dock that you posted in black and white and in color (Henry Shrivers: Shrivers Dock is what I called it growing up). That is where my dad and brothers always launched their boats. It was the honor system, put your money in a tin box and launch! The Twin Bridges! So many memories. I love your photos…feels like I am back at home!
William, I am very pleased that you posted this and that I just found it. I am very proud of this Nicklynne lady. And I am also very pleased to let you know that she is one of my daughters. Nice work Nicole. Love you-------------
I don't know how to do the link, because I am new to this project. But my close friend Pam Threadgate (she is listed in this list) is actually taking amazing shots. You should check hers out too.....
I decided to add a second one! I especially like Judy's shots of the field of flowers with barbed wire woven throughout. http://365project.org/jadams/profile
I am following someone that I'm pretty sure is from South East Asia but I'm not sure what country. I recognize the script of his language but am not sure if it's Khmer or Thai. Anyway there are only 2 people following him and his photographs are great. I encourage more of you to check out his work. http://365project.org/jahangirkabir/profile
If anyone is interested in seeing truly spectacular photos all taken in Shanghai, take a look at Jorge's work. He has only 4 followers so I suspect most of us aren't aware he is on here.
This thread went far beyond my expectations. Just came across Hunter--some phenomenal and different photos. 29 photos and 2 followers. http://365project.org/hbb103/365/2010-05
I tend to agree with Jeff O's "Part of me says if someone wants to be more noticed, they need to do some work on their own too. Some people don't care and like being under the radar"

I keep an eye on several, and appreciate each for different reasons, but one "underappreciated" comes to mind. http://365project.org/amywest/365/2010-01-18
