I am very faithful to 365 every day. I try to go through each day's photos, follow the popular page, make comments and encourage people. However, this is your chance at a "brag" thread. This is not a theme or a competition, but I am downright curious...what is (in your opinion), the most stunning photo you have posted on 365 to date? Will you share it here on this thread for all to see? It may be a difficult decision, but pick one. Yes, just one. I know this is going to be tough because I think all your photos are stunning every day. You guys are the best of the best! :)
Third time's a charm? Reposting to include my picture, I'll delete the first one :-).
Wow, that's an awesome picture! I have to admit that I haven't had time to go all the way back in everyone's album on my friend list. I really should take the time to do that!
I would have to say that my stormy carnival ride is my favorite picture so far. I can't wait till another carnival comes to town!
This was the first time I'd truly tried to do people photography. Plus, it's my grandmother, and she's beautiful, and I think I captured some of her beauty and strength. :)
Wow - this is hard - trying to decide on one. I keep changing my mind. However, the image I go back to look at over and over was one that I took recently of a small gravestone in Montepelier, VT, of a girl who is know as "Little Margaret". It's amazing to me how much this picture looks like a portrait of real person from a distance - only when you look at it enlarged and up close do you see that it's actually a statue. Some of the finest skills from a sculptor I've seen in a long time!
Lone, go to the picture you want to post, right-click on it, and go to Properties. Copy the URL (should end in .jpg).
Then you can paste the URL in this discussion, and surround it with
<img src="(paste the URL here)">
craigy p omg this pic is priceless. he looks like he has many thoughts going through his head. You need to frame this picture. it is awesome. i just had to tell you that.
I'm in love with my photo oppurtunities here in Lunenburg and Nova Scotia. Knowing I took this from a spot most people won't come across (I was shooting from a ditch!), and the way it turned out, this is my favorite so far
It was hard for me to decide between this one and the picture that immediately follows it within my 365, but I think this is beautiful for more than just one reason.
I had no idea what this would turn into. I am loving it! These photos are absolutely amazing! Thank you to all who have posted and keep them coming! :)
I'm not very far into the project yet, just over a month. This is the one I'm happiest about so far. I was out on Plum Island, one of my favorite places, for a couple of hours. I took lots of shots that day, but when I took this one the sunset light was just perfect over the marsh and river.
I went back and looked at my pictures and some of them are really pretty but this picture of my 4 year old grandson is just so special. I love the way he is concentrating so hard on his ipod and it still amazes me that a 4 year old can use an ipod! I also like the way the light is shining on his face.
It's really hard to choose, and I made the mistake of looking at the others that have been posted. While this is not necessarily a popular picture of mine, it is one of my favorites. I like the contrast and clarity.
Wow... Y'all have such awesome pictures. "Stunning" is totally the right word for them all.
The picture I'm most proud of (and the one that seems to be my most popular) is this one:
I just love it so much. Admittedly though I was torn between that one and a few others.
I think I have to choose this photo of our cat, Lucas (who looks a lot like "Miss Mew" above!). He was sitting on top of the cabinet where we hang our coats and the light was hitting him just right...
Wow doesn't even begin to describe how wonderful these pictures are! Such great artists all in one place, each with a different vision and perspective on how they see things.
Wow, this is a great thread, I am loving seeing all these wonderful photos. I would have to say my favorite is this one
http://365project.org/lookitsz/365/2010-04-26
I went to the "more sizes" under "tools" on the page of the photo. Copy and the HTML code for the main size and then paste it here in your reply box. That's what I did for mine to start this thread.
This was tough! I have a handful of my photos that I really love, but I would say this is probably the "most stunning" if for no other reason than it is such a rare thing that I see a rainbow all the way around the sun that I can actually photograph.
On a side note, the rest of the photos already posted here are just wonderful!!
I'm quite new to the 365 project so I would have to say this is my favorite so far.. I would have chosen something else from my Flickr albums (http://www.flickr.com/photos/blugirl_1216/) but this will have to do :)
It was really hard to single out one photo, but I decided to go with this one, because I LOVE hummingbirds! I thought I would never be able to get a clear shot of them, but my patience paid off :-)
All photos posted above are STUNNING! I love browsing through the site, and everyday I encounter so many gorgeous images! It's a real pleasure being on 365!!
Wow, there really are some stunning photos here! It's so interesting to see what everyone's favorite of their own photos is. It was a hard decision, but I think for me, this one wins out:
I tihnk it might be this one, but I can't really decide. I love the colours though. It's funny, cos I wasn't sure if I liked this when I first took it and now it's one of my favourites.
this is as far as i know how to go now how do i get the picture to upload???
tired it last night and it worked but eliminated it because it came up twice and ow i can't get it back
Bruni: Go to the page with your photo. Go to more sizes. Select main. You copied the link, but you need to copy the HTML code instead under it that starts with
I'm really enjoying this project and getting inspired by all your beautiful pictures! I'm quite new to the project, but so far this one is my favorite:
Wow! You guys are just great! These photos are all stunning! We have some very talented people in this group. Excellent choices of photos for this thread! :)
this is our lake....drive by it every morning going to work, and every evening coming home from work....part of the reason we decided to buy our house...
this is def one of my faves, it was between this one or the sunset one i took last week
So fun to go back and look at my photos - and to see other's "stunning" photos - thanks for starting the thread. Not sure this one is "stunning" but it was the first photo I really had fun taking: http://media.365project.org/1/160418_abfopstu38_m.jpg
This was taken on a beautiful spring afternoon on a beach near Clogherhead in Ireland. I have been coming here for over 35 years and it is just a wonderful place. I now bring my children to Clogherhead so everything has gone full circle. I love the sea and the seagulls and the cliffs in the picture.
I've hesitated a bit putting up a picture...everyone is so talented. But I'll never learn if I don't share. So, following Michaels' instructions .. here's goes.
I can't do it. Not that I can't upload a pic to this discussion, it is just that I can't pick. I have enough trouble picking one of the many shots in a day to post that day and now I have to pick only one of the 144 I have taken so far. Can't do it. Nope. Can't do it. Won't do it. Someone else do it for me. LOL!!
I'm somewhat of a "newbie" here, but I am very thankful for my friend Karen suggesting this site to me and I am very glad I joined. It has motivated me to get out take pictures and also get in further touch with my "creative" side. With that being said... this is my favorite so far...=)
MICHAEL.
when i do as you referred too i only find the above paragraph under my URL there isn't anything there that refers to a HTML code. where you wrote the comment for me your sentence wasn't finished it was cut off somehow. so sorry but i'm still in the dark. i will go on to my husbands laptop and try it there who knows maybe it works there. i had it up once before but because it pasted the picture twice i wanted to delete one and it deleted them both.
Me again MICHAEL. NOW I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED.
Michael .....so simple. i forgot to click reply when i didn't see the picture come up. now after writing to you again i posted reply and bingo there is the picture. sorry to have been such a nuicense. it was so easy afterall. thank you for all your help.. i certainly appreciate it that you took the time. thanks
This is a branch of my red maple tree...our Canadian National Flag has a red mape leaf on it, we also have a hockey team called the "Toronto Maple Leafs"
this is my fave, the pink is sooo awesome and the blue sky makes it stand out so much =] as much as id like to become a great photographer, im not sure how much is my skill verses nature and just life being beautiful and easy to shoot =]
I really love a lot. But it was a good opportunity to review my photos.
Congratulations to all for the amazing photos!
This was the one chosen... http://365project.org/anacseixas/365/2010-02-26
This is a super macro shot of one of my Mother's Day roses. Turned out pretty nice. Strange though, the calandar shot is so much cleaner then this image.
Michael, thank you for this thread, for it is amazing beyond words! Great great job, guys and gals! You are very very talented! *liftshat*
(And I can't make up my mind about the picture to post for this thread, because I find so many of them so incredibly meaningful to me in retrospective. And then I think of which I might have spent most time on to create and again, it's really tough, because ever since the beginning of the project I have tried a bunch of things that I never did before...)
As Murray said, I like several different photos for different reasons, and though I would not say that it is the image that I am "most proud" of, it does seem to be the most popular one...
wow there are soooo many beautiful photos in this thread!! great job guys :) i love seeing parts of your life and photos from around the world...
well, here's my pic...
WOW, How can I follow with a good pic after seing all these? There are some amazing photos on this site, I am so glad to be a part of the 365 family :o)
This is the one that I like the most that I could consider "stunning", but you would have had to have been in that location to get a true appreciation for the beauty of the place.
They just keep coming! I am loving this. I had no idea what this thread would become, but I'm glad I had the idea to do it. These photos are astounding. :)
It was really hard to find one. I actually love quite a bit of my photos!
I mean.. if we didn't like AT LEAST some of our photos.. we wouldn't become a better photographer.. right?
Well, this thread is pretty amazing. I keep coming back and there are many more entries. I don't have any "stunning" photos as so many of the above are, but this one is my favorite so far because of the work I put into every step.
Its simple, the subject matter is in focus and the background isn't cluttered.
Wow, that's an awesome picture! I have to admit that I haven't had time to go all the way back in everyone's album on my friend list. I really should take the time to do that!
I would have to say that my stormy carnival ride is my favorite picture so far. I can't wait till another carnival comes to town!

(And thanks Teresa for explaining how to post a picture!)
Great idea, Michael. You really made me re-examine my photos. I guess, so far, I'm most proud of this one...

Here's probably my most interesting so far . . .
Turtle In The Road is my favorite picture so far.
The picture I'm most proud of (and the one that seems to be my most popular) is this one:
I just love it so much. Admittedly though I was torn between that one and a few others.

Wow doesn't even begin to describe how wonderful these pictures are! Such great artists all in one place, each with a different vision and perspective on how they see things.

I don't know if I would call this photo stunning, but it is definitely one of my favourites!
I'm constantly trying to get more people to participate!
Fabulous shot!
All of these pictures shared here are just awesome!

This is the image that always makes me stop and gaze at it a few moments longer than all the rest I've taken thus far...
Mainly because I have a hard time with macro, so am quite proud of my efforts :)
MICHAEL.

Personally my favourite picture by far... represents things that I like to photograph and just the simplicity of the area I live in.
This is my favorite because it has so much meaning to me right now.
My Husband and my Little Princess Zoey
Here is my fave (so far!)
The Valley of Fire in Nevada
It was really hard to find one. I actually love quite a bit of my photos!

Great idea for a thread.

I love this one:
And these 2 because they are BRAVE moments for me:
this one wins by a millimeter.
this is one that I love the perspective on
and this one I love because it is for real a shot of my passenger side mirror and I got it in one shot and it looks pretty darn spiffy
This is probably mine,
and its variation:
although I have others that are favorites for the memories they evoke.
