Two of my cousins are playing head-to-head tomorrow in an important football game. I would love to see your sports action shots and love suggestions on how to take good ones.
Highest ISO, widest aperture setting, fastest shutter speed, longest lens you have. 200mm is great with f/2.8 but most people don't have that. If you have a 300mm with f/5ish you can get some good shots. Might have to adjust exposure a bit in post process if the field isn't well-lit.
A sport's photographer told me to use as high as ISO as I could without the grain, shoot in AI SERVO, get as close to the action as possible, use a high shutterspeed and an f stop number of around f8. I use this advice to get my son's sports photos. Have fun at the game!
