I just ran across this (as in the last few mins) and I can say that I'm not a big fan. I thought a person was linking something in the discussion till I moused over it and saw the dialog box about winning an XYZ for taking a survey. It's even used with the word Latest on Latest Topics on the right hand side of the page.
Now don't get me wrong, I understand that Ross has to pay the bills. I want this site to keep going so if this is the way it has to be, well then..... but I was enjoying the ad free site once I paid for my ACE.
I will be a little more hesitant about possible links in discussions. I know all I have to do is mouse over it to see if it is a link or not.....kinda intrusive, yet less so than big ads right in your face. For now I haven't seen it in any photos so Thank You for keeping it to the discussion forum.
I try not to point out a problem w/o at least one solution, however right now I can't think of anything that would create revenue for the site while still maintaining the integrity. I don't usually post a bitching post like this but I thought others might share the same feelings, and I am curious what the community thinks.

Update: Just ran across it in a photo's caption AND comments.....ugh.
@kjarn@jinximages@alk1991@manek43509 I will try to provide a screen shot.....in the meantime, look around in various discussions and photos. You may see a blue underlined word in a post or title. Right now Kathy's post has the word single in blue however I have noticed it changes each time you refresh or change screens...
@shadesofgrey
I can't see any words in blue, except the normal site links (ie. people's names, which link back to their 365 profiles, as they always have done). How strange.
@kjarn Look around for anything blue and underlined, then put your mouse pointer over it and a pop up should appear....you might have to dig around a bit till you see it. It doesn't appear that any word is off limits, titles, dates, etc.
You sure it's not a browser plugin you've added accidentally, or you've been infected with a virus or something? Just disabled AdBlock and I'm not seeing anything here...
So I took Dr. What's advice and checked my plugin's....I disabled everything that I didn't recognize so I can't pinpoint exactly what it was but it has stopped!
@nikkers Not sure what I disabled but I right clicked the main border around the page and selected task manager (google chrome) and un checked all the ones I had no idea of...hope this sends you in the right direction
Facetheme and Shockwave are the two plug ins I found
@shadesofgrey hi, this is 100% definitely not anything to do with 365 project, I would never put any intrusive trickery like that on the site, if you can provide a screenshot I'll take a look, email me at ross@365project.org
Sounds like you've got a virus on your computer to me, have you tried a different web browser or a totally different computer?
@shadesofgrey
Yes. As others have said, it sounds like it's something on your browser, rather than in the site... Perhaps try downloading a new browser (which one are you using now?) and see what happens then.
and have come across this on comments on my photos and also even on the line where the date is posted.. ugh
