As always, I am ever hopeful that my list remains clean and that everyone who should be on it is, and everyone who should not be on it, isn't...
however... if despite my efforts, I've somehow left you off the list when you should be on (or left you on when you should be off), please post to this thread ONLY and i will get it fixed...
Also, if you've never played before but want to join up, please post to this thread as well...
If you are paired up with someone who seems to have gone MIA (does not post a challenge to you by Tuesday at midnight GMT), please let me know...
AND, if you know you will be away or won't have the time to participate, please let me know BEFORE the pairings are posted (generally on Saturday)... that way I can take you off the list and avoid the confusion and disappointment that ensues when part of a pair goes MIA! Remember, it's always easy to get added back on the list for a following week :)

A Word About Repeat Partners
I use various approaches for randomizing the pairings, but there is no way i can guarantee that you won't at some point end up paired with the same person...
if anyone has any ideas on how to prevent this, i'd be happy to hear them... at the moment, the only thing i can think of is to compare each pairing to all the previous week's pairings... and while i love you guys lots, i don't love you quite that much ;D
anyhoo... so far managing the switcharoos hasn't been too awful so i am ok to keep doing that... but please be patient on this, 'k? :)

A Word about Repeat or Impossible Push Challenges
because this challenge has been going for close to 5 months now, it can be hard to figure out what challenges may have previously been given to your partner in the past... I would suggest not over-thinking this... issue a challenge based on what you see in the last couple of months... if your partner has already done this challenge, they can let you know and you can come up with another one...
also, if you end up with a challenge that is simply not possible for you (eg: requires a DSLR but you only have a p&s, requires you to shoot a skyscraper when the tallest building in your area is 4 or 5 stories), then I think it should be ok to let your partner know and ask for a different challenge... remember, you should be stretching your skills, trying something different, even something you are a little uncomfortable with... but i do not think this is intended to be mission impossible :)

This weeks's challenge runs from Monday December 3rd thru to Sunday December 9th... please tag your photos get-pushed-20...

the Guidelines
1. Find your partner from the list below.
2. Browse through the last couple of months of photos to get a feel for what they shoot and don't shoot etc.
3. Post an introduction on their last photo, and also issue the challenge you are setting.
4. You have until midnight next Sunday December 9th, to take and post your shot or shots.
5. When posting your shot
(a) Write a short description about who challenged you, what the challenge was, what you found hard about it etc.
(b) Tag it Get-Pushed-20
(c) Tag your challenger in the comments and
PLEASE NOTE - you MUST tag your partner in a separate comment... tagging them in your write-up of your photo is not sufficient as it will not result in them getting a notification...
6. Maybe the challenger could then critique the photo as well
7. On Monday December 10th the winner of the previous week will pick 5 finalists for a vote, this can be based purely on their fav photos, who they felt best met the challenge etc, etc.

@archaeofrog ok - technically she's got until tuesday evening... have you posted to her on her last upload? that way she'll get an email (if she signed up for emails) and may respond with her status quicker...
Hi Northy. I'm going to be away (without computer access) from this weekend untuil the weekend before Christmas, therefore please remove me from the next two lists. I'll try to remind you on Friday 21st December as I would like to get back on the list on 22nd Dec. And many thanks for all your hard work. The challenge has certainly got me to be more experimental.
@northy Thanks for all your work with this challenge. It has been one of my favorite and one that has pushed me a ton. I'm having to bow out for a while but hope to be back again soon. Please take me off the list until your hear back. :)
@northy I have not got a challenge yet. Also I will be available this week and next week but after 15th / 16th December I will be unavailable until 5th / 6th January. I will be continuing with the 365 project next year (my 1st year ends 31st December 2012). Thanks for everything.
@northy hi, friend....just wanted to say that Frida and I are repeat pairs and I am pretty sure she's off to her sister's wedding...but since I've had some dreadful virus, the break came at a good time! Just didn't want you thinking that I was out of the listings for the next one! AND it's just a good moment to thank you again for keeping this going...bravo!

Hi Northy! I am glad you asked everyone to notify thier partner when they post thier challenge picture ..because i have not seen one of my partners challenge picture yet!! welll maybe one, lol; I am new to this challenge ( about a month or more) and Sometimes i am to busy to check or go look for them especially if they are not a regular follower..so i am plesantly pushing everyone to please tag your partner in the comment area with your challege photo..as we do take the time to look at all of your pics to present the challenge, i know i would enjoy seeing the end result! .

@northy Just an FYI, I was partnered with @staci2171 this week. She has not posted a photo to her project since 12 Nov. and didn't respond to my challenge to her, so I'm assuming she's off doing other things rather than 365. So I didn't get a challenge this week, which is fine, but you may want to take her off the list for next week until you hear from her. :)

@northy, FYI, my partner for this week appears to have vanished into the ether. I left a challenge for @himynameiskirsty, but it's Friday morning and I haven't received a challenge in return.

@northy not sure when you will get this, but I am finally at the point with moving and the holidays to join in the challenge. I also needed to get my new project up to speed with enough pictures.
