So - below are the pairings for the first week of the year... with all the end-of-year / new year comings and goings i'm expecting to have mucked something up... please bear with me and we'll get things sorted...
-- if I've left you off the list when you should be on (or left you on when you should be off), please post to this thread ONLY and i will get it fixed... (it becomes awfully challenging to keep track when you post to other threads)
-- If you've never played before but want to join up, please post to this thread as well (but you might want to read the general info in the other link first)...
-- Sunday, Jan 6 - find your partner and issue a challenge
-- Monday Jan 7 thru Sunday Jan 13 - take a picture in response to the challenge issued to you, and post it with the tag: Get-Pushed-2013-01, and comment on the photos taken in response to your challenge
-- Monday, Jan 14 - winner of week 24 will pick 5 finalists for a vote
NOTE:
If you are paired up with someone who seems to have gone MIA (does not post a challenge to you by Tuesday at midnight GMT), please let me know by responding to this thread...
1. Find your partner from the list below. The easiest way to find someone (if you don't follow them) is to put their "@" name in the search box on the top right of the screen and hit the magnifying glass... it will take you to a list of discussion threads where that person has posted... find where they've posted and click on their thumbnail - that will take you to their profile...
2. Browse through the last couple of months of photos to get a feel for what they shoot and don't shoot etc.
3. Post an introduction on their last photo, and also issue the challenge you are setting.
B. To respond to a challenge:
4. You have until midnight next Sunday, to take and post your shot or shots.
5. When posting your shot write a short description about who challenged you, what the challenge was, what you found hard about it etc.
6. Make sure to tag your shot for the challenge.... the tag format is Get-Pushed-2013-XX... the XX stands for the week of the challenge... as this is week 1, use Get-Pushed-2013-01
7. Tag your challenger in the COMMENTS (not just your write-up). PLEASE NOTE - you MUST tag your partner in a separate comment... tagging them in your write-up of your photo is not sufficient as it will not result in them getting a notification...

8. it is nice to visit the photo that was made in response to your challenge and offer some comments and maybe even some constructive criticism...
9. On the Monday after the challenge is over, the winner of the previous week will pick 5 finalists for a vote, this can be based purely on their fav photos, who they felt best met the challenge etc, etc.

@sparkle tx Juliette... yeah... had some 30+ folks ask to join in, mostly newbies... hopefully everyone will be patient and this week goes smoothly - i fear there may be some bumps with so many new folks trying to learn the ropes at once :)
I just have a quick question @northy ....
Does the photo have to be one of your 365 days??? My get pushed was using bokeh (first time ive ever heard of it lol) so i did it at night.. Ive already done a pic for that day so i popped my bokeh photo (or my version of it anyway) in a different album i have set aside for themes and challenges.. Is that ok?? Thanks or any help x
@githaofegestal hey Githa... I don't update the pairings list after its posted... Just gets too complicated and so far hasn't been seen as necessary... No worries, tho, I have both your names down to be paired up next week
@mej2011 hmmm... @hopess13 is around and saw your challenge - so she isn't MIA... i dropped her a note on her latest pic... hopefully she'll respond... i'll check back later to see... @agima has offered to stand in if someone is in need of a partner which may be another option...
Hi, Northy @northy I need to ask you take me off the list for just the next few weeks, please. . .am just finishing up my project and really struggling for these last few days. I'll definitely let you know when ready to return. . .and thank you again and again for all of your grand hosting and support. You give SO much to the 365 community.
@jjefferies hmmm... well - i did it because the numbering system was confusing me... i could never remember where we were and i was afraid it would just get worse as the year went on... but i'm happy to go back to the original version if people generally prefer it...
Hi @northy I need to take a break from this challenge for a few weeks. I've got alot going on right now. Thanks so much for all your work on this. I think this is the most fun challenge on 365! I will be back!
