I’m very proud to be able to host the next album cover challenge as winner of the last one back in January. I must say that I really enjoyed taking part in this challenge. I hope that you have as much fun as I did putting the photo / words together.
Ok – this is what you need to do:
1. Go to Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/) and hit "random article" on the left. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2. Go to The Quotations Page – Random Quotes ( http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3). Scroll down. The last 4-6 words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your album.
3. Now goand find a photo that fits your album!
4. Use your favorite editing program to create your cover. You can use any image of yours for the album, old or new, but you must use your own images.
5. Enter your album(s) in the challenge by tagging it with albumcoverchallenge15
If you are after some inspiration here are the last two winning covers:
The challenge will run till midnight, 15 March (GMT). All entries must be made between now and then. There's no limit to the number of entries you can make; just be sure to tag them as instructed above.
On 16 March I'll choose the top entries for your voting - the entry with the most votes wins, and the winner gets to host Album Cover Challenge 16. Do share your entries with the rest of us by posting them on this thread. Best of luck and enjoy yourselves!
