I think it would be fun if there is a challenge for people who read. This challenge is about taking a scene from the book, chosen by the winner, to inspire you. This weak I tried to pick something that many people will know. If you have not read the book then you can still use things from the movie or learn a little about it for your picture.
This weeks book is Anne of Green Gables.
This challenge starts today and goes until the 24th of May
I will choose the top five on the 25th and judging will take place that day.
Please tag you pictures Sceneit1 and feel free to share them here.
You may enter more then one but only one of yours can be chosen for the final five.
nooooo! i was commenting more on my ancientness and rotten memory! it is a classic (well - i think it is - but then, i'm canadian ;p)
that aside, i do wonder if a common book may be hard because reading habits will vary... but i think the theme idea is a fantastic one... so much for the imagination to play with!
Oh boy, reading comments especially @northy & @meganc1 made me think "well what would be a more well known now book?". So what immediately popped in my head ...... 50 Shades of Grey, wow can you imagine the shots for that a one!?
@sianipops@northy Oh my my my. I'm going to keep watching this space. Anne Of Green Gables and 50 Shades... poles apart. The mind is racing. Thanks for the laugh :)
I chose this book for a challenge a couple of weeks ago...is this still ok to use?
The scene is Anne arriving at Avonlea and going down the road with Mathew....and the trees were in blossom and she said that "the Avenue" was too plain a name...it should be called the "White Way of Delight".
Love the idea, Megan, and I don't think it matters how old the book is - google and Wikipedia can give people enough of an overview to get them started - and you may even inspire some of us to read a little broader. Personally I loved the Anne books.
Funny you should mention 50 Shades of Grey because I am plannng to take a b&w shot just as soon as I can find the right location. The idea is there and I am searching for the right place and time - the working title is for the photo is 50 Sheds of Grey ;o)
@lynnb@a_cam Thank you both for entering. Great Ideas but there were not enough entries for voting. I am going to start a new competition with a different book.

@northy Is the book too old? I just wanted it to be familiar to lots of people.
