The last Mundane Challenge winner @jo13 has asked me to set up this week's theme for her. Her spectacular entry for the Shoe theme pretty much led the race for the votes last week and was well received by all those that entered.
The mundane theme was started by Aaron @grizzlyghost, for those of us who may have lost inspiration. He suggested we take an ordinary, boring object and start shooting it. Turn the ordinary into the extraordinary!
As you've probably seen already in the main title, Jo has picked Glass (and all it's many uses) as the latest theme.
You are free to use any photographic technique you like to capture this everyday object. The only rule; there can be no question the object of the challenge is the star!
The Challenge officially starts today - 8th July and runs through to the end of Sunday 14th June, so you all have just under a week to get your creative heads on! The five finalists will be posted on 15th July (UK time).
Jo is looking forward to seeing your photography and spending time deliberating over your work and of course, the lucky winner will get to host this challenge next time round :)
Any entries which do not fit the time frame will of course be admired but unfortunately not accepted.
Please tag your entries mundane-glass
Feel free to post your entries onto this thread as well, as to enable inspiration for others!
The following is a list of objects used so far for the challenge: toothbrush, screwdriver, veggie peeler, bar of soap, scissors, electrical plug, paperclip, jar, language, cardboard, toothpick, hex key, hair comb, screw, button, key, coin, ballpoint pen and of course shoe.
@jo13
Here we go Jo, I hope the time frame for your challenge and everything else posted above is OK for you. To view all the latest pictures posted regarding this theme just check out the tag: http://365project.org/tags/mundane-glass
Next Monday morning you can then pick your 5 winners and i will sort out the voting page for you shortly afterwards. Either leave your winners on one of my picture pages or in a reply here. Alternatively, if you wish, you can send me an email - which can be found on my personal info page (by clicking my small profile picture)
Does glass mean any object made with glass or specific object called 'glass' as in drinking glass(vs. cup) that you use for drinking water/other drinks? sorry, I'm a little confused... Need a little clarification. @jo13
@ikamera I don't think Jo wanted to specifically stick to just 'a glass' but rather anything glass can offer by way of a shot. I'm sure she'll clarify when she gets here though. :)
@darrenboyj Darren, I can't thank you enough, and just to be clear, any object made of glass, just like you said. I'll keep in touch with you via email. Big thanks.

Have fun :)
Here is my attempt!
Light & glass - too much fun!
"Rolling Stones" a.k.a. "marbles in a jar" - playful and reminiscent of childhood!
Half Full
Chilled
Imperfection
Cookies and Milk
Again, just for fun :)
