The last Abstract Mundane Challenge that ran was teabags. As the winner of that challenge it is my honor and privilege to run this weeks Abstract Mundane Challenge. The winner of the Mundane Challenge for teabags was Skygirl ( @skygirl), who chose this week’s topic to be ‘broom.’ The abstract mundane challenge always uses the same object, the key difference being that in this challenge, the object is rendered as a part of an abstract image, where the object itself is not presented in a realistic format.
As there has been some debate by 365s with regard to the blurring of the lines between abstract and mundane, new rules for this challenge began with the last one. These rules are:
1.IMAGES MAY NOT BE DOUBLE TAGGED (your mundane image must differ from your abstract image) Here is a definition of abstract: link http://www.photokonnexion.com/?page_id=2406
2.The challenge will run concurrent to the Mundane challenge and use the same object as the basis of the photograph
The challenge officially STARTS Friday 1st November and ENDS on Saturday 9th November. I'll then pick the finalists shortly after this date and voting will begin :o)
Feel free to POST YOUR ENTRIES ONTO THIS THREAD as well, as inspiration for others!
