What do you mean you are busy preparing for Christmas and you don’t have time to make an album cover?!! What you need is a break from preparing for Christmas and what better way to do it than stirring your creative juices by making a cover.
Thought we could make it a festive one this time. So.....
1. Go to Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/) and hit "random article" on the left. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
Pick a quote that you like and the last 4-6 words of the quote will be the title of your album. Note there are 16 pages of Christmas quotes to choose from!
3. Now go find a photo that fits your album!
4. Use your favorite editing program to create your cover. You can use any image of yours for the album, old or new, but you must use your own images. Don’t forget that albums are square and CD covers are nearly square...
5. Enter your album(s) in the challenge by tagging it with albumcoverchallenge19
The challenge will run from today Dec 11th to Dec 19th at midnight (UK time). All entries must be made between now and then. There's no limit to the number of entries you can make; just be sure to tag them as instructed above.
On Dec 20th I'll choose the top entries for your voting and we’ll vote before Christmas. The entry with the most votes wins, and gets to be the CHRISTMAS NO 1!!!! And not only that but the winner gets to host the first album challenge of 2014.
You are welcome to share your entries with the rest of us by posting them on this thread but above all ENJOY !!.
Finally I should point out that due to the painful ghosts of Christmas No 1's past all photo's of Cliff Richard will be automatically eliminated from the competition!

@fueast ha! i know - i admit earlier today i started getting one together and got some northern french village with a name i cant remember as band name but got no further as someone came to the back door - i could have used abbreviation' snfvwanicr' !
