WHEN YOU'RE LOOKING FOR YOUR PARTNER, REMEMBER:
-- some folks don't post much on the weekends, post in clumps (ie: 3 or 4 days of shots in one go) or are at a point in their project when they only post a few times a week... soooo - if your partner doesn't get back to you right away, or appears to be a few days behind, please give it a day or so before asking for a new partner...
-- HOWEVER, if you're partner hasn't posted in over a week and hasn't responded to their last challenge, please let me know... even if you are ok with taking the week off, letting me know helps me keep the list up to date and makes things easier for pairings the following week...

-- Saturday / Sunday, August 2nd and 3rd - find your partner and issue a challenge
-- Monday August 4th thru Sunday August 10th - take a picture (or pictures) in response to the challenge issued to you, and post it with the tag: Get-Pushed-107, and comment on the photos taken in response to your challenge
-- Monday, August 11th - the winner of week 106 will pick 5 finalists for a vote

How to play:
TO ISSUE A CHALLENGE
1. Find your partner from the list below and click on their name to get to their profile
2. Browse through the last couple of months of photos to get a feel for what they shoot and don't shoot etc.
3. Post an introduction on their last photo, and also issue the challenge you are setting.
RESPOND TO A CHALLENGE
4. You have until midnight next Sunday, to take and post your shot or shots.
5. When posting your shot WRITE A SHORT DESCRIPTION about
-- who challenged you,
-- what the challenge was,
-- what you found hard about it etc.
You really should do this because if nothing else, it helps the previous week's winner when they have to choose this week's finalists... besides, if someone is cruising the photos with a "get pushed" tag, they like to see what the challenge was when looking at your photo :)
6. Make sure to tag your shot for the challenge.... Get-Pushed-107
7. Tag your challenger in a COMMENT (not just your write-up). You MUST tag your partner in a separate comment... tagging them in your write-up of your photo is not sufficient as it will not result in them getting a notification...
ALSO
8. it is nice to visit the photo that was made in response to your challenge and offer some comments and maybe even some constructive criticism...
9. On the Monday after the challenge is over, the winner of the previous week will pick 5 finalists for a vote, this can be based purely on their fav photos, who they felt best met the challenge etc, etc.
Didn't seem to get a challenge last week although I set one and that was done.
I wonder if it was set and I never got it? Sometimes I have to search for my answers as people don't add a message to me.

@not_left_handed hi Dawn... yes, when you post a shot for the challenge you need to also do up a separate comment on the shot to tag your partner... putting their @ name in the write up to the shot does not create a notification for them...
@northy Sorry about this but I went to the person I was paired with and their last photo was 24th July 2014. Also in the comments for their last photo someone issued a challenge to them.
@nytewind hi Angela... i've added you to the list to get paired up next week... for this week, there's still a good chance of getting assigned a partner... someone else is bound to come along within next day or so looking to pair up... stay tuned!
@northy I so appreciate all you do and this is in no way aimed at you. However just wanted to feedback that this is the third week in a row that this has not been successful for me. Three weeks ago I set a challenge which was not done. I did get a challenge and did it. Last week I set a challenge, which was done and I got no challenge as no comment done, so never saw it. This week, I do know it's only wed, but set a challenge a few days ago no response or challenge, I know it is the holidays but it seems that this is a bit vague right now. Just letting you know.
@northy I have the same issue this week, where challenge was issued but no responseand none received...but I've been busy so I will just sit this one out.
@neatz I'm so sorry for no challenge! I know its late, but I'll drop one off on your comments, I'm sorry but my life has gotten pretty ridiculously busy with work right now unfortunately.
@northy Because of my schedule for the foreseeable future, could you take me out of the challenges until further notice? Thanks!

@melanierivers@neatz so sorry you've had non-responsive partners... i know it is very frustrating... do please be sure to let me know by the Tuesday if you don't hear from your partner - this is the only way i can find out that someone has dropped off the grid and then i won't pair them up the following week... and also, if you let me know early enough in the week, i can usually find another person for you to pair up with...
@northy if I don't get one it's not the end of the world, it's just the searching about. Very rarely has someone just contacted me. I contact them and then wait!
