Somehow, this technique challenge never really got off the ground. Sorry if I chose a challenge no one really wanted to do. I've already extended it a week, but we still only have 5 participants and 6 photos. This makes me think I did something wrong. Should I extend again, or just end everyone's agony and have a vote and move along to someone else's challenge?
I say don't extend it further. It's not you. I honestly think that if @scrivna does not change the format for discussions for Themes and Competitions soon, we'll see fewer and fewer participants. It's a very antiquated way to look up an announced challenge and then find followup. I have all but given up on themes unfortunately. It's NOT you! I've emailed Ross with a request to make this particular section one that can be filled out by someone and it will have an easy way to announce, remind, and setup votes. It also will have folks putting in better Announcement strings--so many weird ways things are listed. So Ross, please, pretty pretty please! Think of a new way to handle this area of discussion!
I'm not sure Karen, maybe a lot of people were like me and thought that is a great challenge I will do that and then haven't come up with shot. I think it was a fantastic technique to choose and did intend to participate... sorry :(
I am sorry I only saw the challenge an hour ago..I tend to agree with @darylo that sometimes it can be difficult to identify what challenges are the current ones. I would have liked to have joined in.
