Hi all!
I thought of a new competition! It's called 'In The City'. All you have to do is take a photograph of your local city/town. It can be black and white or colour - it's up to you! The winner will get to host and post the next challenge.
Here's mine. The county seat of Morris County NJ, Morristown.
Not Chicago, not New York, it is consistently ranked in the top ten of highest per capita income and wealth in the United States and yet homelessness and poverty are still persistent problems. Two clients of the soup kitchen hosted by my parish church can be seen leaving after lunch with their evening meal and a few possessions in plastic bags on the way to the green in the town center to spend the day before retiring to the shelters for the night.
