****WINNER**** Technique Challenge #51 – Architecture

January 19th, 2016
Congratulations to Rosie Kerr @rosiekerr for winning the Technique Challenge #51 – Architecture Challenge!

Rosie you now have the honor of picking the next technique challenge. Here is a list of prior challenges:
Low key, Motion blur, Split toning, Flipped reflections, Long exposure, Professional looking portraits, Mini portraits, Rim lighting, High/fast shutter speed, Vintage in modern, Double/multiple exposure, Forced perspective, Zoom burst, Multiplicity, Panning photography, ICM, Shaped bokeh, B&W, High key, In the night, One-light lighting, Refractions, Selective color, Tilt-shift, Into the sun/flare photography, white background, macro photography, Shooting blind, Framing, Light painting, Slow sync flash, Silhouettes, HDR (High Dynamic Range), Minimalism, Panography, Blurism, Color Contrast (Complimentary Colors), Diptych, Shadows, Ghost Shots, Portraits with Props, Negative Space, Low Key Portraits, Kinetic Photography (Camera toss), Self Portraits, Flash photography, Triptych, Brenizer, Soft focus, Focus Stacking, and Architecture.

One question that came up after I started this challenge was, “are the submissions to be taken during the time of the challenge?” I took it upon myself to go back through all of the technique challenges to find the answer. I found that the original challenge did have that requirement as well as 38 of the 51 challenges. Something for you and future hosts to consider.

Thanks to all who participated and thank you to those who took the time to vote!

@skipt07 @taffy @pistache @summerfield Thanks, all! A nice morning surprise and honor. I have never won one of these before... do I just pick a technique and post it as a blog or discussion (with the guidelines etc., of course)?

@rosiekerr - You pick the next technique then at the top of the Project screen you will see a menu that includes, "Your Project", "Upload", "Discuss", "Blog", "Browse".
Pass your mouse over "Discuss" and a drop down window will open. One of the selection options is, "Themes & Competitions". Click on that which will open a new window then click on the "New Topic" button on the top right. There you enter the new challenge title in the "Subject" box and all pertinent information about the challenge in the, "Your Post" box.
I look forward to your first challenge as a hostess!
P.S.
Make sure the information for the title is correct. Everything in the "Your post" box you can edit after. But once you submit the challenge you cannot correct the subject.

@skipt07 Thanks, Skip. :) I'll give the next topic some thought (not too much, though) and try to get it up and running this evening. I appreciate the suggestions.
