Thank you to @lindy for hosting the last 'My favourite pictures in a collage - Highways and Byways' and thank you to those of you who voted for my entry showing some of the best of East Anglian countryside.
With the Olympics now under way and Brazil showing us a flavour of their country in the opening ceremony, I wondered how you would represent the country where you live. Would it be the countryside, the city architecture, wildlife, food or customs? Famous attractions, vehicles, beaches or something more patriotic?
You have to choose 6 of your pictures, taken at any time, to show us a flavour of your country. Let's start on Sunday 7th August and finish the following Sunday 14th August at midnight GMT.
Many 365' ers enjoy traveling around the world virtually via your photos, so bring them together and be proud of what your country has to offer!
It's already Sunday here (by 13 minutes) so I guess I get to go first. Welcome to Perth, Western Australia... my home (gush). From top left: Pink & Grey Galah, Kookaburra, Female Red Tail Black Cockatoo, Perth City at night, Burns Beach (Northern suburbs) and Busselton at sunset (South West region of WA).
@daisyditch@leggzy Thank you, both of you for your lovely entries. However the rules are only 6 photos in the collage. I hope you can adjust your entries and re enter. :-) If it's any consolation the first time I entered this challenge I put in a collage of 10 photos..it had taken me ages!!
Wow, this is a really hard challenge--for me. There is so much beauty and diversity in this country I had a hard time picking just six pictures, and almost decided to skip it. However, this is what I finally came up with just before giving up.
This if from my trip to Hobart, Tasmania, highlighting the Central Highlands and Huon Valley. Beautiful place.. I'd live there if it weren't so cold! haha
Cherrill, you need to take the @ off your tag.
This is my favourite city in the United Kingdom
Cherrill, you're doing fine. (I was more than glad of my son, Neil's, help at one stage of posting when it was my turn!)
Here is my entry

But I would love to share my home country beauty.
