I forgot to add the 'P' word to my original list but have since corrected it. This is now the complete list. So sorry if I have inconvenienced anyone.
Since there was June rhyming words, and July J-words I have put a bit of a twist to the August words of the month. There are 31 words available, a word for each day of August but I have made it August Alphabet month.
It works the same way where you can do them in order if you choose, or not. You can leave the five remaining words until the end, or stick one in where ever you would like. Those five words are technical type words rather than specific objects.
I would like to take this time to thank all the 365 members who continue to participate in this great challenge, and to those who take time to contribute suggestions. This makes my task of compiling the list truly pleasurable.
We had 15 members submit suggestions this month, and I was able to use at least two suggestions from each member. The words that were submitted multiple times took priority over the words that were suggested just once. Ice cream, while a July word, was suggested by five members so it made the list once again in August.
The letters ‘J’, ‘Q’, ‘X’ and ‘Z’ were filled by me since there were no words beginning with them suggested.
This challenge is a great place for those who occasionally lose their mojo and need ideas or inspiration. It is also a great challenge for those who want to go that extra nine yards to do a full month of words. The choice is yours!

Feel free to do one word, a few, or all of them. They can be done in any order you choose, or on the suggested day. Pop in daily, or just on occasion. This is your challenge, and your project. Until next month, enjoy!

Thanks Wendy. I'm going to print out the list this month and keep it with me so I can try a few more this month. I kept having to look up the words last month and then forgetting which day it was when I was out taking photos, lol!
