It is no secret that I do love a good drive by shooting or shoot without looking! It is always interesting when you upload and see what you have caught on camera!
The Shoot Without Looking challenge was started by Kathy @kathyboyles. She describes it as follows: 'This is a fun challenge where luck followed by creativity produces your entry. The idea is to take a photo without looking through the lens of the camera, then produce something interesting from the result.'
I use a few techniques to capture images - I try to set up the light etc and try to focus on where I might be aiming - then.......
- if I am a passenger in a car I often point the camera out the window and press when interesting scenes appear
- when out wandering in street type scenes I hold the camera in front and press when there are interesting people
- same as above but hold the camera up and around and randomly click
Have a go - it is fun and you get some cool images!
The original shot (without looking) must be taken within the time frame of the challenge, but overlays and other material can come from any time. Cropping of the shot without looking is discouraged. Perfection is not the point. Interest and creativity is. You can enter as many times as you like.
The challenge will begin August 14th, 2017 and run until August 27th, 2017 (midnight Australian EST).

Don't seem to be many entries for this so I just thought I would post my entry to encourage others. It is great fun just to point the camera and see what you get.
