It was close.... @paul10 Paul's beautiful photo beat out the second place photo by just a few votes. Congratulations Paul, the six finalists, and all of those who entered the challenge. These challenges wouldn't be successful and fun without you.
Paul, it is now your turn to host the next macro challenge. The theme is up to you. Some of the previous topics include: hands, music, food packaging, brushes, motion, candy, knobs, buttons, cutlery, wood, eye, jewelry, stationery, fruit or fruits, water drops, St. Patrick’s Day, feathers, food, rust, leaf, herb/spice, money, tools, shells, toys, textures, bubbles, bugs, flowers, seeds, music, key, game piece, Christmas decoration, metal, glass, stone, color, and now flowers again.
We can't wait to see what you come up with. And again, congratulations.
@paul10 😄 come up with a macro subject, then the easiest thing to do, is go back to the original challenge and copy and paste into a new thread. Just change the relevant bits, like dates and subject etc. I make a note of when the challenge ends too, so I remember to set up the voting at the end
@paul10 Carole (above) explained it well. I know it sounds and feels a little overwhelming, but it really isn't.
Main steps are... 1) pick a theme, 2) write a post sharing that theme along with giving it a tag (macro-[something]) and a deadline for entries, 4) when deadline hits, pick your top 5 or 6 favorite or worthy of being in the top picks, 5) write another post sharing those picks and give a deadline for voting, 6) when deadline hits, count the votes and declare the winner in another post.
