Thanks to Northy @northy for hosting the last edition of this challenge, and for giving me the opportunity, by the luck of the draw, to host the next.
I read the long, long list of previous themes aloud to Frank, and at the end he said “I don’t think I heard you say ‘Dinosaurs.’” Well, by golly, it does look like we’ve never had that theme. Our dinosaurs (and Neanderthal Men) were very keen on that, even after I explained that, because I was hosting the challenge, we couldn’t enter. The Triceratops Twins lobbied hard for ‘Dinosaurs,’ but I’ve decided on a theme that’s more inclusive — PREHISTORIC. Interpret as you'd like.
Your collage must consist of SIX photos taken by you.
Images do not need to be taken within the time frame of this challenge. You can use pictures you’ve posted here before, ones from your archives that have never been posted, new photos taken for this challenge, or a combination of those.
If you’ve never done this challenge, give it a try now. Jump right in with both feet and six photos. Let’s have some fun with this. New members are especially encouraged to join in and post a collage!
Don’t have a photo editing app to make a collage? PhotoCollage, PicCollage, PiZap, or PicsArt might help. Picmonkey, Ipiccy and Befunky also have collage-making options.
Please tag your entry MFPIAC91
Because many of us are busy around the holidays, we’ll give it a full month.
• Challenge begins Tuesday December 17
• Challenge closes at the end of Thursday, January 16, midnight wherever you are in the world.
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JANUARY 26!
• Voting will follow and the winner gets to choose the next theme and host MFPIAC92.
To keep this thread active, post your entries here as well.
Let the collage-making begin!

I do hope people don't find this subject too much of a challenge. I'm really looking forward to seeing creative collages tagged and posted. I've thrown together a selection of six images as examples of some of the types of things that could be used. Not everyone has dinosaur and Neanderthal Man museum replicas living with them, of course, but some folks have toys or can find them in stores, such as the one I posted from Hobby Lobby a bit ago:
and then there are Natural History museums you might have shots of. I didn't have to go to the library to take a picture of dinosaur/prehistoric stuff books. Frank has any number, but the library IS one of my favorite places in the world and may be for some of you also. I've never traveled to a site where I could see cave painting, but when I was a kid we went to Mesa Verde. Some people may be lucky enough to live near sites of civilizations that lived before-written-history. There are also fossils! And other stuff I've not mentioned. Here's my hastily assembled collage.
@mcsiegle Oh dear. I missed the most important thing - the prehistoric bit when I saw a post about the collage. Well, the moon is pretty prehistoric isn't it lol.
@zeezee absolutely prehistoric! You are so right! I realize now that I was wrong when I thought you were going with the theme of the last MFPIAC, which was light. Yes, @zeezee the moon has definitely been around since before recorded history!
