I have a friend, Magi, a lifelong painter who turned 100 in June. As she became more confined, she'd ask me for photos for inspiration in her paintings, and she continued to enter the art in shows in the Pasadena (CA) area; I've purchased some and she gave me some. Exchanging notes with @zambianlass, she'd been asked if she frames her (sublime!) photos. Her reply was that her mother-in-law, a painter, gives her paintings of her photography to hang. I've seen others photograph their framed paintings (some, their personal art work), and I'd like to give everyone a tag to use if they wished to share a photo of their personally-accomplished framed art hanging on the wall, or framed art that was reinterpreted from their photographs by others.
