The one on the right :) my BFF and I in our last year of school; a birthday card and drawing of a monkey from another friend of mine in the US; a page from a Cinderella coloring book, also from pictured BFF :) the metro routes in Paris (don't ask) and a picture of Bon Jovi from the concert in France last summer.
Nothing on there in my household! I've got custom wood panels on my fridge so that it blends in with the cupboards. I'm a stickler for neatness so wouldn't tolerate stuff on it even if the wood panels were not there.
This was harder to photograph than I thought it would be! All of our photos are in plastic magnet frames, and getting the lighting right was tricky! A good exercise for me.
Top Left: my beautiful grandmother as a little girl.
Bottom Left: Me and Ryan dancing in Greenwich, England.
Little sheep came from the Cliffs of Moher, Ireland.
"Kiss the cook" magnet from Solvang, CA (little Danish village). Got it to celebrate my Swedish heritage. =)
@daffodils60 Thanks! I ended up shutting all the blinds and turning off all the lights except one that was BEHIND the fridge. Then, I got way over to the left until the glares had moved off to the far right sides of the photos. It was tricky, but it worked out okay. Learn something new everyday! =D
@kjarn That was taken back in January..maybe I should do an updated version!
And it doesn't even include the National Trust property magnets which are on the side of the fridge :-)
@eleanor I see Denmark's Flag and a Finland map! England, The Korea's, Spain Greece, Is that that Slovenia? or? and Honduras??????
;D I love that fridge!
@suomiiiii Those flags are a legacy of the Fifa Soccer World Cup, which we hosted last year. In a bid to learn all the visitor's flags before they arrived, I made a set of fridge magnets of each participating country's flag.
@refriedradio its probably nice having a nice clean fridge......my kids moved out quite a while ago and I know i thought that my place would be kid free and more sophisticated - but no! haha
