How to use water marks of something so no one takes your pic

How do you put those samples across your pictures or something along that order to prove they belong to you? I have seen them on other ppl's pics but dont know how to do that. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

depends what editing software you are using.

In Photoshop you make a text layer....type in what you want at what size you want, add any effects you like then reduce the opacity to your desire, I've made mine into an action so I dont have to type it out everytime...

how do you make an action?

@sphotography At the bottom of your actions panel click the icon next to the garbage bin, do what you want in the action, then click the stop button!

@warmbreeze43 I use Photoshop Elements. I created the text layer then saved it as a paint brush. It's easy to change the color and opacity for every photo.

I just add text in Picnik, which is free with Ace membership

I created mine as an image as it has a logo in it, I use a white image on a black background then I copy the image as a new layer using a screen mode

try picnik.com, it's really easy, you just type some text and then you can mess with the opacity and color and everything
