Help please! Sentimental B&W Portraits Tips & Suggestions

My friend has asked me to take some sentimental black and white portraits of her and her fiancee to use during the unity sand ceremony at their wedding. She wants to go out to the beach and take several shots that will be playing as a slideshow while they complete the ceremony.
Any tips, suggestions on poses, ideas, or hints would be greatly appreciated! I've never done anything like this before and I'm taking my brother and his girlfriend out to the beach this weekend to "practice."

I always like a wide angle of the whole beach, with the couple walking away from the camera hand in hand at the water's edge.

I was going to suggest the same but with a low angle taking in the line of the footprints

I like the couple holding hands idea too. I'm doing something similar at the end of the month. I'm wanting to try a shallow focus shot of the sand or seashell for something with the couple sitting in the sand in the background. Also sunset silhouette.
