2016.01.25 Monday: Today was a very comfortable day with a high of 56 degrees F. (13 degrees C, I believe). Most of our recent snow had melted and the slush on the ground had pretty much dried.
We decided to walk around Adtran Pond to enjoy being outdoors and to observe the birds that had wintered there.
It turned out that it was very windy in that location (at times it felt as if we had walked into a wind tunnel!), so I didn't see a lot of birds as I had expected ...but it still was wonderful to be outdoors and to enjoy the beauty of Adtran's landscape!
This is such a pretty place and beautiful scenery!! FAV! We had a really warm day today too and we got up to 59 F. Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer!! Yay!!! Have to say that water looks mighty cold!! Love how the trees frame the photo!!
Lovely framed view...Looks almost like spring.. I can see the wind on the water, the way it ripples. Nice to have that break in snow I am sure. We had a lovely day in the high 50's yesterday as well. We get them from time to time..but back to the rain again for the next week.
