2017.02.11 Saturday: Our feeders have been quite busy lately, but this little Chipping sparrow managed to find a few quiet moments in which to perch atop one. At first he quietly and peacefully looked around, then he began slowly closing his eyes, and finally nodded his head and dozed off for a quick nap!
A few minutes later he lifted his head, opened his eyes, and sprang into action with renewed energy -- It was fun to watch.
