2018.03.30 Friday: Another pic from my television photos of yesterday's Opening Day ceremony ...This man sang the National Anthem; he did a quite good job of it. I'm not good at keeping up with musicians these days, but the announcers identified him as "Clay Cook, a member of the Zach Brown Band." I was just happy that he took singing the anthem seriously and did it well.
The Braves lost to the Phillies in the 11th inning of the second game (played today) ...They were simply out of players to call on by the end of the game! Hopefully they aren't going to make a habit of their games going into extra innings.
Nice shot and I'm happy to hear he took singing the anthem seriously. I know the Zach Brown Band is quite popular . . . my college-age niece who lives in Toronto drove to New York to attend a Zach Brown concert and absolutely loved it. :-)
I am not familiar with him or the band although I vaguely remember hearing the name. I'll guess I'll have to look them up on Youtube. So glad to hear the anthem was treated with the respect it deserves. Good portrait shot.
