The snowy bank on the left leads up to Wilstone reservoir which is a few hundred yards (metres) away from the farm shop. I took this from the little car park by the reservoir. I like the way snow and grey skies seem to emphasise the geometry and lines in certain things, like these posts.
We called in at the shop for some food today. Since they are in the same building we thought we'd call in at the tea room as well. :-)

Thank you so much for all the great feedback on the Walker in Red, it's very much appreciated.
It's pleasing to see everything in focus from front to back. I wonder what the little red tags are on the posts.

@janturnbull Thank you. :) The little tags are reflectors, Janet. I think they're designed to stop people accidentally ramming the posts when parking in low light.

I am so envious of all your beautiful snow - you've sure captured a lovely view of it here - love the geometry of the posts and the total focus of the picture. Still trying to learn how to do that.

Lovely shot, nice leading lines; if the shop and the tea room are in the same building it would be rude not to visit:0)

Nice shot. It looks very cold and icy.

They looks a little bit like sentries all in a line. You're right about snow emphasizing certain things so that they stand out from the landscape. I hadn't really thought about that before I read your notes.

Great shapes ands leading lines to the gate and trees. The posts really do have a great look. Re the tea room, yes it would be rude not to!
