The snowy bank on the left leads up to Wilstone reservoir which is a few hundred yards (metres) away from the farm shop. I took this from the little car park by the reservoir. I like the way snow and grey skies seem to emphasise the geometry and lines in certain things, like these posts.
We called in at the shop for some food today. Since they are in the same building we thought we'd call in at the tea room as well. :-)

@janturnbull Thank you. :) The little tags are reflectors, Janet. I think they're designed to stop people accidentally ramming the posts when parking in low light.
I am so envious of all your beautiful snow - you've sure captured a lovely view of it here - love the geometry of the posts and the total focus of the picture. Still trying to learn how to do that.
They looks a little bit like sentries all in a line. You're right about snow emphasizing certain things so that they stand out from the landscape. I hadn't really thought about that before I read your notes.
