What a nice incorporation of stature and human... I need to consider that "statue" theme...we've got a few around town now that I'm in Lunenburg.

I've actually thought of you today. My morning began with a call from a dear friend living here now, but she & her husband are originally from South Africa...can't recall at this moment which city. I'll have a picture of them one day...I just love them dearly, and their home is filled with beautiful things from their home country.

Asked Ken, who just golfed with John this afternoon... John was 8th generation from Cape Town, but they'd moved to Durbin and came to Canada from there (landing first for a time in Gander, Newfoundland). Isn't it something how the world just seems to come together sometimes!

The solid, almost chunky figures are wonderful. I always feel like touching statues like this. To feel the solidness.

The Square was opened on 16 December 2005. They are quite easy to miss unless you are going to that part of the Waterfront. Next time!
