This is Christ Church in Station Road and sadly it is threatened with demolition since it become damaged during storms at the end of last year. The threatening storm clouds sum up the future of this building.

It will cost 2.5 million to repair and the congregation cannot afford the costs. It is quite a landmark and it will be sad if it has to go from an architectural point of view.

Such a shame with these old churches which have stood the test of time for so many centuries!
