Hooray - we have finally got our Christmas tree up and decorated. We actually brought it in yesterday but for some reason our lights which I have had for over 20 years have ceased to work despite us changing most of the bulbs. I know I have had a good length of time using them but somehow I still feel a bit disappointed.
However, a trip to Squires (yet again) and we bought two sets of LED lights which are working well. The tree has a travel theme - travelling in time and also geographically as we try to buy a small decoration in each place we visit. It is really nice seeing our old friends again which include a penguin from Dunedin in New Zealand, a raven from the Grand Canyon, a doll from Laos and palm leaf fish from Cambodia!
