Slightly delicate head this morning - I’m sure it has nothing to do with the pint of Doombar, birthday cocktail and half a bottle of Malbec!
Colin went to watch James play football and I continued working on my calendar and then realised that I should actually be getting lunch ready as everyone would be arriving pretty soon. Or so I thought but as the rugby was on at Twickenham it took about four times as long for everyone to get back so I had plenty of time! The other downside was that for some reason our microwave gave up the ghost so my baked potatoes had to be finished in the oven.
Lunch was good and later we drove Ian to Heathrow Terminal 4. Tonight was the return of Endeavour on the television which was good - one of my favourite detective programs. This is a close up of the delicious cherry cake that Charley baked specially for Colin.
